Nicole’s mother suffered from a chronic pain condition. After her mother began seeing a massage therapist Nicole
learned about this profession and became a registered massage therapist (RMT) herself.
Nicole graduated from the West Coast College of massage therapy in 2006. She gained a special interest in women’s health and is passionate about providing treatment to women during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period. She also enjoys teaching and providing infant massage.
Nicole feels that therapeutic needs do not only vary from person to person, but from day to day. She offers a variety of massage treatments to help you. With variations in pressure, techniques, areas of focus and desired outcome. Every visit is a chance to find your new favourite massage.
She thrives to keep learning new techniques and has continuing education in pregnancy/ high risk pregnancy/ post partum massage, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, ligamentous articular strain technique (L.A.S.T) and enjoys using these modalities in her treatments. Other modalities that she incorporates into her massages are
Swedish massage, relaxation massage, trigger point release (deep tissue), joint mobes and muscle energy (MET).
When not working with her clients she finds her own balance by spending time with her friends and family.
